    Onscreen Keyboard Won't Run/Appear (After Update 1809)

    Hi,

I'm using an HP Pavillion All-In-One PC. It has a 27 inch touch screen.

It was recently updated to Window 10 Home version 1809 with seemingly no problems. However, when I tap the onscreen keyboard button, which is located on the right side of the task bar, the keyboard simply fails to appear. After this, no other buttons in the task bar work or respond to touch. The task bar only becomes functional again after I use my bluetooth keyboard and tap the Win key twice (which opens and closes the Start Menu).

Can someone help me with this?

    Thanks.

I can activate the so-called "On-Screen Keyboard" from the 'Ease of Access' section in Settings, and that works fine. The problem I'm having is with the "Touch Keyboard" which has a button on the task bar - it won't appear and the task bar freezes. When I go into the Start menu and type "Touch Keyboard", it takes me to the settings for it, but I can't see how to actually run it.
