    One Drive

    Happy new year to all.
One drive I haven't been using it for a while, So decided in the new year to have another go at using it.
I signed in and there were some old files still three from before, Went to the one drive folder in the windows explorer and there were about six files so decided to delete them but failed I selected one item and select delete nothing happened.
so went to the one drive online folder the same items were there so selected the files. and delete to recycle bin, within seconds they reappeared. How can I get rid of all these old files?
Help Please. Using windows 10 home with uptown date system.
    Many Thanks.

    Hi

You dont mention if this is a 365 subscription or a standalone install.

As you mention that you dont need the files, I would suggest unlinking the PC from the account

    1. Select the white or blue
OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar
    2. In the activity center, select More > Settings
    3. On the Account tab, click Unlink this PC and then Unlink account

you should now ne able to delete the files and onedrive folder from your profile

    once this is completed,

    4. Goto the online version of onedrive and delete the files there
    5. Download he latest version
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=248256 Install and relink the PC

also please ensure that your date and time are synced with onedrive otherwise you will get errors as you descibe.
Not sure what uptown date system is that you mention?

If this does not resolve the issue, then we can visit other options.

    Hope this helps
