I had this problem, it's not hardware. It's a windows issue I made a post for this issue and there's no fix, I had to go to 8.1

I have the prob as well. Once a day, without fail, my machine locks up and I have to shut down with the power button. I know puters dont like that and this morning, the freeze up finally broke my machine. My only option was a reinstall. Its good now...lol, I have no Idea what happ. Had to do a restore. Said the restore didnt work then dumped me out to my desktop. I have no idea wtf happened. Id like to say this though: I dont know why microsoft would abandon a smokin os like 7 and stick us with 10.

    Hi,

Microsoft is the dirtiest people you can come across. Wion 10 is not working for our machines and they won't allow us to re-install our Win 7 Pro either.

Any suggestions for going back to Win 7 pl;ease? I use Acer X3810 machine.

Well, legally you need to re-purchase Windows 7 or have a valid serial key for it and then proceed to download, mount and install the ISO located here which is Microsoft's official Windows 7 ISO and that'll work like any other OS install, if you've upgraded from Windows 7 then you can always revert back using the windows recovery option although this requires that you didn't remove your windows.old folder after upgrading.

Then you have the numerous not so legal ways that I will not go into as google will handle that for you, good luck.

As I mentioned in the previous post, it's located on Microsoft's download page and I will link it to you again HERE
And as I also mentioned this does require a valid serial code for your previous version of Windows 7.
