Some apps need to be uninstalled because they might cause problems with the upgrade process. Especially security programs. You'll be able to reinstall these apps after the upgrade to Windows 10 is done.

Other apps need to be uninstalled because they won't work correctly or might not work at all with Windows 10. You won't be able to reinstall or use these apps after the upgrade is done. Also unplug any usb devices. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...faq-windows-10
Well this is all nice but after upgrading I decided to do a clean install and I get intermittent freezes using Edge and after coming out of sleep mode and have to do a hard restart then ok for a while.

I tried every mentioned solution, but nothing worked for me. In the end I uninstalled Acronis True Image 2015 and since then the system runs stable (24 hours now).

I am also having the same issue of random freezes, I have Acronis True Image 2014 installed. Alexat is your system still stable after uninsalling Acronis True Image 2015? If so I might try uninstalling Acronis True Image 2014. I have also updated drivers etc.

Have you guys checked for Event 129 in your Event Logs? That may be the reason.

Next time I get a freeze I'll have a look for Event 129 in event log.

First I tried to upgrade to True Image 2015, the problem still occurred. Acronis True Image 2016 finally worked for me. Just try to completely uninstall True Image, reboot your system and give it a try.

So with Acronis True Image 2015 uninstalled your system freezing disappeared?
