Win10 Copying Files With Wrong Date. Why? How to Fix?

    That's a wealth of information - Irfanview I think, is it? But only two dates in it all: file date an image creation date.

    I know nothing of these tag schemes. Could effect dating?

    One of the dialogue boxes was Windows Explorer, the rest were from IrfanView.

    I've used IrfanView for ~15 years.
    It's one of the first programs I install after I've done a clean install of Windows.

    I don't know which of the Date field(s) Windows Explorer reads.
    If you have IrfanView, it might be easier for you to work out which field is being read, as I don't take any photos.
