Install English Win10 Over Japanese Win10 - Way to Avoid Losing Apps?

Hi,

I reinstalled Windows 10 after creating a USB flash drive. Worked great.

Windows found all the needed drivers.

So, all is working good.

Meanwhile....

Have another Japanese laptop that has Win 10 and converted to English.

Want to reinstall Win 10 on this laptop. However, the difference with this laption is that it originally came with Win 8. Then prior owner upgraded to Win 10.

If I reinstall Win 10 with flash drive, will the laptop / Microsoft complain that it originally came with Win 8 and not let me install?
