Windows 10 and 768x768 thumbnail size?

    Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure if this is something coming to windows 10 or if its there but not available on my system. I was under the impression with windows 10 came the extra extra large icon sizes (512 and 768) to better support higher resolution displays. I have a 980ti g/card and a 4k monitor.

This would have come in handy as I have a single 4K monitor that would have benefited from the slightly larger thumbs/icons.

Adjusting scaling for text and other aspects or windows does not affect the actual size of the icons or thumbs infact, the larger the scaling becomes apparent on text the smaller the icons become!

any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

    many thanks
    David

I've been looking into Windows system icons as part of one of my programming problems, and it seems that the release version of Windows 10 doesn't actually use 768x768 icons anywhere. There was a "Project Threshold" build that had them at some point, and a few were scattered around in the DLLs in Windows Technical Preview, but there doesn't seem to be anything now.

thanks KimikoMuffin, would anyone happen to know the build version number for win 10 that used the larger 768x68 icons? I really hope they bring this to the release version though and I was hoping it might have been in as part of the big recent update.
