Thanks for the link. I have read a lot about this stuff but this site seems to have gathered it altogether under one roof. I will definitely use some of this.
Can we do those changes by C# code?
For example how can I turn off "Location for this device"?
Speaking of all gathered together does anyone have registry keys for all of this yet? I was thinking it would be nice to roll all of this up into a regkey or script.
. . .darn Microsoft is at it again. . .oh boy this really scares me; guess it's time to unplug from the net. . .
Well it looks like there are tools out for this already: Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4 for Windows 10
Since Windows 10 first emerged there are probably 20-30 programs and or guides to give you privacy using Windows 10. I have said it before and I will say it again. Microsoft is not the Software or Net Police! They only care about protecting their own products such as XBOX. The data that MS collects is used to make Windows 10 better. Now if they are given a warrent by law enforcement they wil comply as they had to in all of their prior OS's.
I don't disagree. Honestly I think Microsoft is doing a better job than it's contemporaries in that they allow you to turn most if not all of this off. I was just looking for a quick way to do that in one shot, and since I found one I thought I'd share it. I would really rather just have all the registry settings handy, but in the mean time I'll take what I can get.
