    Please re-read post #5 and post #10, I gave you the exact solution on how to permanently disable Fast Startup and also explained why with follow up reply simply because I had a very it's similar problem with Windows 8.1 and Fast Startup on my older laptop.

    Anyhow, looks like your problem is fixed...good days. :)

    Fast startup was the problem with mine. Starts up first time everytime now. Thanks for the post.
