Yeah. I have a latest GPU (GTX970) and have current Win10 driver. I might give Edge a try. Always stuck to IE though. All I've ever known, lol.
I also have an old Samsung too. Syncmaster SA550. Only using their driver from a few years ago. Don't think they'll ever bring out a Win10 one for it.

Windows may have reset the settings.

I think it's time you changed to Edge mate as it has the dark theme.

No idea what it is mate, lol. It's more in general, too! All settings are the same. But it's like the white of the screen hurt.

If you are not using Edge then you should change as that is so much better on the eyes, also faster now and has extentions

I find that two things help. One is to have a coloured Title Bar (Personalise > Settings > Colours > Show colour on title bar). This helps take some of the 'whiteness' away from windows. Maybe what makes even more of a difference is to calibrate the colour (Display settings > advanced display settings > Colour calibration). Those can help tone things down a bit.

Windows 8.1 was fine. But for some reason Windows 10 is seriously making my eyes and head hurt. I have no idea why. I don't know if Win10 is brighter by default. But if I lower the brightness, it makes the colours look too dark and out of proportion. Don't think it does much good neither. I thought it could be to do with my monitor refresh rate or something. There's no driver for 10 but it seemed to of installed regardless. Even typing this is making my eyes and head hurt. Pissing me off big time. Anyone else with same prob or a decent solution? I have an Nvidia card. Tryed Flux but don't like it. Cheers.

LOL ME TO MEN!!! WINDOWS REALY SUCKS!!!!! first windows 8.1 UI style,
then I buy ASUS this day!! my eyes hurts!! and my head is dizzy!!!!! wtf is happening. im using my mac book air and i then suddenly feels normal, i cannot work like this, maybe i will install windows 7, i just sign up here because Im experiencing the same! i feel groggy whenever i use my asus laptop, i change my laptop on the shop 3 times!!!! the problem is the O.S!!! my first buy which is normal in my eyes is a ASUS with 4k resolution, but i return it because my softwares are not compatible and shrinking in 4k res. then i buy dell and I feel dizzy because of the whiteness of it and my eyes hurts so i change it to asus with no 4k, then i feel still the same!!!!!! wtf!!!!

    Hi Gelbs!

I have read your quote regarding Windows 10 and am wondering if you have solved your problem with Windows 10?

The reason for me asking is that I have exactly the same problem and I am now reaching out to you to see if you have found a solution to this?

My solution has been Windows 7 but I have now changed to a new company and Windows 7 is no longer a solution unfortunately...

I am thinking of asking the company to give me Windows 8 but am not sure if that would work. But according to your quote you did not have problem with Windows 8?

It would be so grateful if you could reply to this! 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you very much in advance!

    Kind regards
    Charlotte

    Hi Charlotte,

This was years ago, now! 😊

My eyes were okay in the end. Not sure why. However, I am for the past year getting bad eye pain when looking at my phone or pc screen. Unrelated to Windows 10. Have you tried computer glasses etc?
