I got both to try out on 7 once I was finally set up with dual lcds during the beta builds and just when the RCs were first seen. I gave DisplayFusion a go but had known about UltraMON earlier before Vista was even out and found that to be much better overall despite some raving about the other! In 10 with the new settings for multitasking that automatically rules out using the smart bar option however since 10 is now equipped to deal with dual displays to an extent mind you!

You still are not able to customize certain things like having two wallpapers one for each monitor! You don't see the option to save custom profiles you get with 3rd party apps quite often. So there are some drawbacks while you still see the support now being there in a limited fashion. The UltraMON 3.2.0 version I got years back still runs on 10 like it was new! In fact I still have the 3.0.1 version as well since the product key was for that one but worked for the newer version to come later.

As for the Creative Audio Console Launcher I can't even find the option for that download any longer at the support site when looking up the two PCI type Xtreme Gamer and Xtreme Audio models while that works for the X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express model card as well that only sees the properties box type gui appear with tabs and not the volume control you see with the launcher itself

Presently I am booted in 7 to get the tv tuner card set up for the replacement vcr go between since it can't detect the cable tv signal being an older now long discontinued model with nothing newer to replace it with so far in trying to patch the cable box into pc for live viewing from a straight cable box with a tv now fritzing out on me where may be I should swap the DVR box there to patch into pc instead? The vcr acts as the adapter by way of the composite output to the composite input on the tv tuner card itself.

Now to reboot back into `0 to see if I am able to view the cable signal clearly.

I noticed one sub folder was missing from the Creative install on 10 that was seen on 7 when noting a discrepancy as far as one sub missing. That would be the Sound Blaster X-Fi folder I copied over to the 10 side of the equation that still needs to put to the test. While the update installer may not be compatible you still should be able to replace icons and create your own shortcut to the launcher even if you have to run as admin and try the Compatibility troubleshooter to get it running.

The 8.1 update went on without any problem but simply lacks the GUI portion for things like the mixer and equalizer. With that you open up tabs instead. Once I get the 10 Insider build VM situation all set I'll have a chance to see what can be done when booted in 10 again.

Sounds good, sucks not having access to the EQ most of all. Feels like here have a nerfed Lamborghini, *sigh

Without having separate bass and tremble controls for the headphone setting at least it can be Royal "H" not being able to suit the particular tracks you may decide to be listening to as well as any for movies, dvd playback, video files, etc. where you have to tweak things a bit. I notice even when changing speaker settings while having 5.1 speakers here the sound improves for Steam titles when going to the 4 speaker setting and for music even the 7.1 at times compared to the headphone and 5.1 settings!

The original panel not the tabbed popup of course featured everything rolled up together with the Crystalizer as well as the equalizer and mixer while the EAX effects tab is still present due a separate update Creative came up with for the X-Fi series cards for 8.1 x64 that will work on 10 x64 as well.

One question I forgot to ask earlier was in regards to which Creative model, model series card are you running there? Here I was finding updates for every PCI and PCIe card except for the Xtreme Audio PCI and PCIe model cards until I got on the Creative forums and found there are "unofficial" updates to be found there including the SB X-FI Xtreme Audio PCIe /Notebook "Support Pack 1.2" that will work for 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP all rolled up into one bundle. SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCIe / Notebook Support Pack 1.0 (07/19/2015) for Win 10 / 8.1 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP

Now due to "Google-litis" as to how someone there shared the driver/app bundle the click on the Google drive link won't bring you directly to the download page but another "mess you up" page until you can navigate to the actual download page itself. The download was found to be "Bug free" so no worry about the "Google Drive can' scan this file for viruses" line on the page seen at Google Drive - Virus scan warning

The Sound Blaster folder as well as Volume panel folder were included and installed promptly! I still have to reboot to follow up on this while I did want to get those links added in before tending to that. The other thread found applied to the Xtreme Gamer, Titanium, and other models all except the Xtreme Audio.

The Entertainment folder was the main interest here once the updated set went on. Otherwise you lose out on the equalizer just having the Audio Control Panel only to work with!

Guess things would be a bit easier if I just listed the specs of my rig and sound.

    Thernaltake Level 10 GT case
    Xion 1000w PSU
    Asus Crosshair V Formula
AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz 8 core black edition
    Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro
    32 GB G.Skill RipJaws (4x8GB) DDR3 2133
SLI (2) EVGA GTX 970 FTW
Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium HD
    3 - 2TB Seagate ST2000DX001 Hybrid Drives
    Microsoft LifeCam Cinema
    2- 21.5 Asus VE228H Monitors
Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Titanium HD
    Harman/Kardon AVR7200 7.1
    Alesis elevate6 studio monitors
    Klipsch SW12 "subwoofer

right now I'm subjected to just using the bass and treble on the receiver and to be frank, It's not cutting it at all.
I'll take a look at the link ya provided tomorrow after work, and see if there's something that works. Have to scot of to bed right now, as I'm not happy about that 5am work thing. :|

That link was strictly for the Xtreme Audio cards and nothing else since Creative seems to have made that series isolated from the rest originally for some unknown reason. The Titanium update will also apply to the Xtreme Gamer which makes no sense since you could previously see the update for the Gamer used on the Audio line as well having the exact same audio chip which is where this other "Unofficial" update not seen on the Creative support site even as a beta release may never come out! Or some testers are posting what they have found works.

For your card there you will be interesed in another thread posted on the forums there that covers all of the Titanium models found at SB X-Fi Series Support Pack 3.8 (10/22/2015) - Updated X-Fi PCI / Titanium PCI-E drivers

When clicking on the "Google Drive" link you end up staring at two buttons one being the Download that brings you to the page with the Download anyway button showing the exact same Google can't scan message. The installation goes fast and follows everything to the detail with the web updater tool finding you then have the latest installed as that runs at the end.

The only urk so far it keeps opening up to the small blank rectangle with volume control only under the two Audio Control Panel and Entertainment options even after selecting the Entertainment while in 7 it always opened up to the Entertainment! It's like 10 forget things while 7 would remember how things were closed. The equalizer is working well for sure!

I have a question, I use Windows 7 with UltraMon, which adds a taskbar onto both sides. But UltraMon does not mirror the taskbar. Each taskbar is different, and only shows what's on that monitor. All the images I have seen of Windows 10 shows a mirror image of the taskbar on both monitors. I would like to know if there is an option somewhere that makes the taskbar behave like it does with UltraMon. Here is a screenshot of what I mean.
Squallboogie.....were you able to resolve the issue of the taskbar behaving like we have seen in UltraMon? I am currently experiencing this issue now as well. I would luv to know how you resolved it??
