I've had an issue where I'd be going crazy with the Virtual Desktops, resize the Taskbar to see what it looks like in 10 bigger, and then randomly not windows will want snap anymore. Closing all open windows and reopening them seems to fix that.

The other I'm having still is in the VM I have of 10, I cannot sign into my Microsoft Accounts at all. I can't add a Microsoft Account user, switch over to one, nor sign into apps separately. I wonder if it's the VM because it had connectivity issues at initial set up and couldn't sign me in...

Also, changing the title bar sizes only applies to Desktop apps, not the modern ones. And when you snap a Desktop app, the window control buttons stay the same size, but the title bar goes back to default size.

Some people get notifications in the lower right. Some in the upper right. I haven't been able to find why.

One person even said that he gets them in either location depending on the app. He used an example of the Timer app, saying that for him those notices display in the upper right; so, I immediately tried that app, since I have a "lower-right Win10," but they were in the lower right for me, killing that theory.

It's not the edition of W10, and not whether it was an upgrade.
I might be totally wrong but I think I have seen some logics here. In my case, all app notifications appear bottom right, all device related notifications top right.

Geeks please, I have some issues with some of your posts in taking the core of issue you report and make a simple one sentence description out of it to be added to list in first post.

I would be really grateful if you could include a short one sentence description in your posts. Explain the issue with as many words you need to, but give also the short description you want me to add to the list.

    Thanks in advance.

User selected Input Language not always applied after sign in.

I use and often switch between several input languages. My settings are very clear, Windows is told to override the default language list and always use Finnish input language when I have not specifically selected another input language for an app. However, when I sign in to Windows, it's a lottery: sometimes Windows has switched to French, sometimes to German and so on.

My screen saver keeps appearing unexpectedly. I have it set for 25 min. but sometimes it pops up within just a min. or two. I turned it off to none. but it still comes back.

I'll start: Vertical Taskbar does not remember its set width after reboot or sign out / sign in
Though, fortunately for me but not you, if you normally run the thinner vertical taskbar, a reboot does not affect it. It seems to be a one-way street.

One thought: if you can figure out where in the Registry that sizing information is stored, you should be able to setup a task that restores it automatically with each login.

When I eject a USB drive, that notice also appears in the lower-right. I've seen screenshots from someone for whom it appears in the upper right (where you probably see it, too), also killing that theory.

Something went awry with drivers for virtual devices, not even newest Alcohol 120% and 52% could install virtual drivers for SCASI which Alcohol needs to run virtual drive.

SFC /SCANNOW needs often several runs, it is totally normal for it not to fix all errors in one run. I've sometimes needed 5 or 6 runs to clear all errors.
