    Best FPS Counter?

I am looking for a FPS counter that I can use with EVERY game. I'm looking for something preferably with a minimalist display or at least customizable.

Fraps is old and doesn't work on any of my games.
Nvidia's ShadowPlay works on only some games and only works part of the time.

    And suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Try MSI Afterburner, it should work.

I hope it works for you. Afterburner is actually an overclocking tool, but it is also a good monitoring tool. If you will go into settings, you can configure it to show almost anything you want in the On Screen Display, Core Clock, Temp, Memory clock, Fan speed or FPS plus several more readings. It can be downloaded from MSI https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner

If you have NVIDIA GPU, you can use NVIDIA GeForce Experience to display FPS counter on game.

That application is completely unreliable at and doesn't even work on some games at all.
    Thanks for the recommendation though.
