Final Fantasy XIV Issues

Short of doing a reinstall of the game, can anyone think of any ways to solve the following issues?

Very slow zoning times. This was not an issue on windows 8 or 7. Loading times have doubled.

Game will not close, it freezes and sits as not responding upon selecting exit game.

Other than these two issues the game is operating well. I get higher FPS on 10. But the loading times make running
things where you have to zone a lot a real hassle. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Solved!!!

Set it to run in windows 8 compatibility mode and the speed and exit issues are both gone. I don't know what this means for the future but for right now the issue is solved. Sorry for the wasted post, hope this helps ppl.

Wish I woulda saw this sooner. Tried it on my own after spending a few days trying everything else under the sun and poof! Never ceases to amaze me when things like this are required after years of r&d and qc testing.

The best thing by far is being able to use another display without running windowed mode. Finally I can actually use my SLI without losing my other monitor!

Now if nvidia will just fix the problem with translucent lighting cutting out gpu usage and taking your framerate with it.. I might have enough motivation to quit wow completely.

hi you all ! i have a great issue installation solve when you try to reinstall final fantasy xlv turn off your anti virus an than try to install your final fantasy xlv again and it will install . good luck to reinstall your final fantasy xlv game . gr chocobo155
