Can't Get GTA V to work

Are you running Windows 10?

Windows 10 comes with DirectX 11/11.2, but that doesn't necessarily mean that previous versions of DX are installed as well, like DX9.

Go download the following 4 DX9 files and install them in order by chronological date (the EXE files will ask you to extract them but wont automatically run the installers, so go to the extract folder and manually run DXSETUP.exe):

You also might not have .Net Framework 3.5 installed, which isn't included by default in 10. To add it go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off. Then just check its' box and click OK. If this doesn't work you can use the following link which will allow you to install this manually, which requires your Windows USB/DVD/mounted 10 ISO:

Also be sure to run all installers in the redistributables folder in the game folder. This includes Rockstar Social Club, the game wont launch without it. It also wont hurt to install both the 32 and 64 bit versions of the Visual C redistributables (some other programs may need them anyway).

I paid for the game on Steam, but got tired of having to be online all the time just to play the single player campaign. I don't really care about multiplayer. I'm currently using the crack by RELOADED, which allows me to play offline. GTAV is running just fine on 10 for me.
