How to save progress in Windows games?

    Hello!

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't find any threads. I play some Microsoft games, such as Microsoft Mahjong in my Windows 10 computer. I thought that if I install the game in another computer using my Microsoft account, I would be able to see all the levels I have played and continue from there. This is not the case. The game starts from level 1. Am I doing something wrong? Is there any way to save your progress to your Microsoft account or otherwise and resume playing from another computer? Like when you save your progress on Facebook in Android games and then resume from another device.

    Thank you in advance.

PS: I only use my Microsoft account for specific apps. I don't want to connect my local Windows account to my Microsoft account, if this is possible.

I found that I wasn't singed in, so my progress wouldn't appear. Once I signed in at my main Windows 10 computer, my progress was retrieved. Now I have to try playing the same game in another computer and see if I sign in the progress appears or not. I'l update the post when I have more news.

Meanwhile I would like to ask, if I click on the dual arrow icon to turn the game to full screen, how can I resume to a window again? I couldn't find anything so I had to press ALT+F4 to close the game. Is there any key combination to return to window view? Thank you.

EDIT: I confirm that signing in on the other computer showed my progress in the game. Silly me! I just thought that launching the game automatically signs you in, I didn't notice I wasn't. What about the key combination to return from full screen to a window?
