    4K PC Gaming Worth it?

I'm thinking about picking up a 60" 4K HDTV strictly for PC gaming. Does anyone have any experience with 4K gaming on a PC and is it a noticeable difference between 1080p and 4K? I plan to sit about 3-4 feet away while gaming. Also would I have to run 2 GPU's in SLI to achieve the 4K gaming experience?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is the 4K HDTV that I'm considering...

Not any experience with 4K, but hear at this point only good for PC Games, not TV, as there is no 4K on Cable or Satellite TV . 3-4' seems kind of close for 60" TV even if not 4K and 1080p, although looks bit further in pics, nice setup though.

I would google more on it,

Thanks for the response. The reason I sit so close it because I play a lot of MMO's and I have trouble reading the smaller text even on my current 50" display.

Netflix also has 4K streaming, though I think the selection is a bit limited.

Just remember, that your GPU has to work a lot harder to push all that data around...

Hmmm. Maybe I would have to pick up another GTX-970 to run in SLI.

Thought then you might need to go to intel i7, but maybe not.

@BeK I don't have an answer on the 4K gaming, I haven't tried it yet. Just wanted to say your set up looks very nice! Also have a question. I have a Panasonic Plasma TV too, was wondering, does yours produce a lot of heat? Mine does

Thank you for the compliment. Between my TV and PC running it does get pretty warm in my mini man cave. That's why I had to go out and get a fan for the warmer months. Otherwise that room remains quite cool.

I've never tested 4K gaming nor seen someone test it. Right now i think we all should be patient for more games to get 4K res, because not every game has it. It depends on you, if you want high graphics you should get 4K if you can deal with 1440p or 1080p it's not worth getting.
