it was tested on Windows Technical Preview before DX12 was shoehorned into the OS, if I had the game, i'd test it out and find what works, but unfortunately I don't

installshield (which is the default installer for any program ever).

So what do you do? Remove demoshield of course.

Can you tell me where it would be located in the directory?

The game tries to run Demoshield to run the game like the whole game is built in Demoshield when you hit play.

I look for it but couldn't find it.

A file like; "demo_mtw2_campaign.bik" for example. Isn't it saying it needs Demoshield to even start?

A bik file is handled by the bink video player(in game) so it makes sense that it wouldn't handle that type of file, is the EXE file (that launches the game) down as handled by Demoshield?

"C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\medieval2.exe" Is the only place I can find anything saying "exe" on it. All video files in the game directory have the "bik" on the end.

I installed it no trouble and put in the CD key so its a totally legit game, but the launch to play fails.

Put the discs to a virtual HD in Daemon Tools Lite, same thing. Its like Windows 10 just can't run it, and I need a driver for demoshield or something.

Says nothing if I just hit play on the exe on the Laptop, but in DTL I get the launch screen to uninstall or readme or play or the webpage options, hit play, the demoshield begins and says; "Designed with: Demoshield" Blip! Disappears, nothing! CTD without having opened the game at all.
