Rival Knights game from Windows Store on Windows 10

Scratchy sound in rival knights. Sound is good everywhere else such Jetpack joyride, all regular windows games from steam, powerdvd 15 ultra etc.

For some reason, rival knights looks good and runs but whenever there is sound it's all scratchy and undistingishable to make anything out. The computer is hooked up to a Yamaha RX-V679 receiver. Oh, xbox one to windows 10 works great and the sound is perfect there as well.
