Missing Hard drive after installing Win 10

Hi I have the same problem but assigning a drive letter doesn't solve the problem permanently. After restart it disappears again and I have to assign a letter every time. I am attaching my disk management screen shot where drive "Life" is having the problem. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I am no expert but there is a cd image called rescatux. Has many valuable tools it's Linux based but works very well saved data off of bad hard drives helped restore hard drives to working state for at least a little while. You can find its download
