    CD/DVD burner problems


    Since downloading Windows 10 the burner on my desktop will not burn MP 4 files from Windows Media Player (there could be others) I have read where files from Windows Media Player will only burn if they are, WMA; MP3; JPEG; & WMV.
    Why is this, I have not had this problem before.?

    Its simpler to get a free dvd software to write the dvd some files by MP may need certain codecs which it doesnt have

    If you are trying to burn MP4 video or other Video files to DVD, use the free DVDFlick program.
    As stated, WMP requires codecs to be downloaded and installed.
    To play DVD movies without downloading codecs for WMP, on your computer, try the free VLC player. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

    If you want certain codecs for WMP (especially MP4), try installing Shark007's Advanced Codecs package.
