Hello,

I have a Brother MFC-J5620DW printer/scanner, which I bought in Spain. I should not have done that, but I missed that station.

I could not find a discussion page dedicated to Brother printers, so I try here:

- These days, almost every device you can buy, which offers a selection of languages has at least English as one of them. But not this printer, when you buy it in Spain (or Italy or Portugal). It only offers these three languages. Probably because ROM space is extremely expensive. I emailed Brother about it, but they were less than helpful.

- I am not sure about the American letter paper format, but I am pretty sure that none of the countries which have either Spanish, Italian or Portuguese as native language, use the American measurement system. Yet I have not found how to change the printer defaults to A4 paper and the Metric system. The result is that the printer asks for a confirmation to override the paper format every time you want to print something.

Anyone knows more about this printer, who can give me some help?

TIA,

Bart
