Display issue on Windows 10 Desktop Computer

    Hi,

In my desktop computer; motherboard is Asus M5A97, power supply is Cooler Master GX650W, Processor is AMD FX-8320, RAM is HyperX Fury 16GB and OS is Windows 10.

    There are two issues:
    1. At every start, I need to change data/time manually. And
    2. When, I press power button, all lights (optical drive light, HD light...) turns on. After 2 seconds, all lights turn off except chassis fan light. And no display on screen till long time. I have to unplug power cable from CPU cabinet, plug it back and press power button. Then system is up.

I believe the 1st issue is because of CMOS battery.
Please guide to troubleshoot 2nd issue. Is it also related to CMOS battery or its related to motherboard issue?

    Regards

For 1. probably CMOS battery. For both, 1 and 2, check the position of the cap jumper on CLRTC on the motherboard. Should be on contacts 1 and 2. If it's there pull it out and put it back few times to ensure good contact.
Manual for MB: https://www.asus.com/rs/Motherboards...lpDesk_Manual/ chapter 2.2.5.
