    i7-6850k/X99 drivers are Xeon?

OK, so I rebuilt my PC a few weeks ago. (All specs on profile) Seemed to all go really smooth until Windows Updates started failing. No cumulative updates succeed. I looked back in the history to see the first fail and it was some Xeon driver.
Looked in device management and saw alot of Xeon drivers listed under System Devices.

If I click on any one of the intel(R) Xeon(R) v4/****** entries and select properties it says No drivers installed for this device.
Yet when I click on Driver it shows Intel, 26/01/2016 10.1.2.19 For every entry.

So I'm asking, is this right?
Did I screw something up on install?
    Can I fix it?

Hope someone knows more than I do.

    Thanks in advance

    Dre.

PS. have run intel driver installer. Asus chipset installer etc

Hello Dre and welcome to the Forums. You screenshot shows things as they should be. I have an X99 board, although a different CPU, and mine shows the same thing. If you go to the driver tab and click on 'Driver Details' you should see "No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device'.

Same here. I also have an x99 board. Yes that is normal. The same intel chipset drivers apply to several families of chipsets.

Thanks guys, I thought that was going to be the cause of my issues. Oh well, I'll have to start a new thread with all the info and see if anyone knows.
It's still a step in the right direction, I know more now than I did :)

    Thanks again for the help.
