    no audio

    After installing the latest iso of windows 10; I have no sound coming from my speakers; just crackling audio. What can be done to resolve this? I have a sound blaster x-fi titanium pci express that worked fine to provide my 5.1 surround audio under windows 7; but; now that i have upgraded to the latest iso of windows 10; Ive got no sound. What to do from here?

    This has been answered in many other threads. You need to set the Bit depth to 16 bit. This is a bug that will get fixed before final

    I have the same sound card as yours. Just open the Device Manager->Sound, video... right click and disable Creative SB X-Fi then re-enable again.

    well top; sadly that did not do anything. I disabled it; rebooted; then re-enabled it and i still have no audio. What else can i do at this point short of possibly going back to 7? because right now i cant even play you tube videos because there will be no sound which sucks.

    Have you tried to install the driver from Creative ? If not, try it first. You only need to install the driver only, not the whole package.
    If you wish, you can download from my One drive: WDM Unzip and extract to desktop.
    Under wdm folder, right click on wdma_emu.inf->install.
    Restart your PC and Disable/enable from Device Manager again.

    @swarfega
    You are using a different sound device. His and mine are the same and mine is working @24bit and here's another post about SB XFi sound card:

    Mine by default is 24bit but this particular Windows but is preventing the sound card from using it.

    I have the Soundblaster Zx and I believe this bug mostly affects SoundBlaster cards.
