hp pavilion dv7 notebook pc display driver issue

    Hello ,

Ive installed a fresh copy of win 10 on this laptop , but the problem is that graphic driver installed by windows makes a delay when I run the laptop , after the win logo , it stuck for about 30 sec on a black screen , then enter the logon screen of the windows .. Ive tried to use the driver given here :

and then try to restart or shutdown the laptop & run it again , the issue was disappeared , knowing that the driver that makes the issue has these information

Hi, you might like to try disabling fast start-up.
Fast Startup - Turn On or Off in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
    Also search the forum for
    slow boot
(many threads- choose recent ones, ones that are solved)

Turn the laptop over and there should be a sticker on the bottom telling you the exact model# of your HP dv7-xxxxx if it is different from the link you supplied.
    Download the Windows 8 driver
    Type Driver-Graphics
    Version: 9.17.10.2817 Operating systems: Windows 8 (64-bit) Release date: Oct 1, 2012
    File name:
    sp58864.exe (136.5 MB)
Run the file and it will unzip the driver to a place on our C: drive, take note of where. Browse to the folder and open the unzipped folder, right click Setup.exe and run it in Compatibility Mode for Windows 8, Run As Administrator.
If this still takes a long time to boot, try running in Safe Mode, if that works then there is another issue.
