"Power Management" tab missing in keyboard properties

I just installed windows 10 on an Acer E1-531. Everything is working fine except for one small issue.

I'm trying to disable keyboard waking from sleep but there is no "Power Management" tab in keyboard's properties in Device Manager. For some reason, it's missing.

Does anyone know how can I bring that tab back? If that's not doable, is there any other way to disable keyboard waking?

P.S. There is no such option in the UEFI either.

At the Start screen, type "System Settings" and press Enter. Click on Keyboard and your setting is there.

Thanks for trying, but you didn't even understand my question.

Your answer isn't clear at all. There is no such option there. What are you even referring to?

I'm sorry, eddman, I have System Settings on 3 Toshiba Laptops running Windows 10 so I guess that feature is a Toshiba feature for Windows 10 rather than being a Microsoft Windows 10 feature. You might check with Acer as they may have something similar that you haven't discovered yet.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more help. Good Luck!

Launch the Device Manager and expand the Keyboards section, where you should find an entry (or more than one) labelled "HID-Keyboard Device" or similar. Right-click this, select "Properties" and the "Power Management" tab appears, where the option "Allow this device to wake the computer" can be deselected.

Similarly, in the "Mice and other pointing devices" section of Device Manage, you can do the same thing to deselect "Allow this device to wake the computer" for each mouse.

Power Management Tab restored with a Registry change

I just found the answer after a year of searching, and successfully implemented it today. The answer is in the Registry. Make one "value" change, and voila, the Power Management Tab appears.

Follow the short instructions at the beginning of this link.

Just changed the registry as suggested. Power management tab still doesn't appear.
    Any further ideas?

After considerable research into this subject, I am now convinced that the absence of the Power Tab is by design in newer PC's. I cured my Asus problem by experimenting with settings in Power Options.

If your Power Tab is not showing after disabling the Registry Key that controls it, I think you may have not have done it correctly. Retrace your steps using the link just above your question.

    Good luck.
