Okay, thanks for trying to help. My guess is that only a fresh install of windows 10 will fix it. Maybe one day Ill do it

Btw, do you think reflashing the firmware could fix this problem?
If you wanted you could do a Repair install of your Windows 10. This would not remove any of your personal files or your programs. If you think you need too. Here is the link for instructions, if you want to read how.

Thanks, gonna try that. But I really think my problems come from upgrading from win 7 instead of doing a fresh install

So far, every upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 has required a clean install afterward. The last one was a hackuva mess after the upgrade, but it had to be done. I didn't have her key (it was an OEM).

Edit: Whoops, I should have said every upgrade I've done. I'm afraid I can't speak for the whole world!

Tried repairing, I'm not sure it even managed to repair (just let it install after the restart and when I came back it was back to my desktop). Still no change to RAPID mode performance though...

I know very little about SSDs, but didn't someone say that Rapid doesn't make the drive any faster in Windows 10?

I know, but its not even improving Samsung's own benchmark, I even posted some screencaps earlier

I would say that if Rapid doesn't work in Windows 10, then for my money, it wouldn't improve Samsung's benchmark. That would be a sure sign that Rapid doesn't work in 10.

OldMike65 posted his own benchmark with win 10 and had improved performance.

OK, I either didn't see it or misread it. My bad there.

Bottom line, though, I would guess, is the famous clean install. It looks like you've exhausted all other possibilities.
