100% Disk Usage on Normal Use (Please Help :D)

New User just joined but imagine im going to fit in around here, anyways to my problem.

i bought this computer off craigslist for around $200 for the tower and another PSU. after thoroughly cleaning the inside (no touching thermal paste or dissembling anything) i booted up and got everything i wanted on it. this was around 2 months ago and just this week i have been having the problem of the computer freezing for a good 30 seconds at a time. i have researched this issue to be disk related and have tried to update drivers for disk controllers and such but to no avail has it been fruitful.

so, can anyways help me with this issue?

It is a common issue on 10. There is unfortunately not "one fix to all" solution.

How to Fix High Disk Usage Issue on Windows 10

You can also try to download WC.bat and run it as admin, it will perform some system maintenance.

Additionally, you can try a scan, which scans the integrity of all system files and repairs files with problems.

    It's difficult to say.
in my experience, you could try:
    1. Get http://crystalmark.info/software/Cry...o/index-e.html to check disk drive healthy state.
    2. Open Resource Monitor check which process is perform the high disk usage.

It's just an issue with Windows 10, I was initially freaked out when this happened with my PC, then I found out it was just a problem with Windows 10. You should be fine.
