Hi, I installed the latest Realtek driver for Windows 10 Pro, Version 1803 (build SO 17134.191).
    Sony Vaio laptop from 2013.

But there is no Realtek HD Audio Manager in my Control Panel.
Also when I click on RAVCpl64.exe in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA nothing happens.

When I try to install Realtek Audio Control from
Your request appears to be from an automated process

but it gives me an error:
    Unexpected error: code 0x803FB005

Also I managed to install Realtek Audio Control as desribed here:
How to download Microsoft Store apps - gHacks Tech News

but when I launch it it says: "Cannot connect to rpc service".

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix these issues?

Hi. Thanks for your help my friend. Yes my asus is still in the warranty, and this is the second time that I send it for repair...first time because of the fan... was doing some weird noises, they fixed, and is perfect... second time because of the sound problem... so before sendind the 2 time I try all the sound drivers... after speak with asus support they told me to send again... after receiving the second time they format my computer and they told me that they change the motherboard... thats why I said... with the headphones I have the same problem... left speaker almost mute and some cracking sounds...
I already fill up the rig specification...
    Thanks for the help
If you go to any Asus forum you will see that a lot of people are having issues with most of the sound drivers causing uneven sound or no sound at all coming from the left side. Also popping sounds.

Are these drivers legitimate? Anyone know the source of this version? Kinda irks me that they are hosted on mediafire and I can't find any info on them outside of some fishy Chinese warez websites.

    8496

The larger driver 6.0.1.8496 is now on MUC it doesn't seem to be an HDA driver.

The larger ones, anywhere from 138-144 MB, are actually HD Audio.
UAD drivers tend to be much smaller in size.

Unlike the other larger HDA versions (8475 and 8492) this one will not install using device manager for me.
