What is with the small size ones, they never get detected or install, when I tall my computer to look at them through device manager
The small ones don't work for many of us, me included, because they are for OEM drivers = Original Equipment Manufacturer drivers. From what I understand, the small files are for specific brands and motherboards. The larger updates, say from 137 to 143 MB, usually work for most of us.

That's what I was wondering, because the big ones always worked. Thanks for the info.

April Update build 1803 will not let me install anything over the default installed version of RealTek Audio drivers, version 10.0.17134.1

I'll try again once I get this machine back on Skip ahead build 17666.

My mobo support page just got updated with a new realtek audio driver, just installed it (it's the small ones) and It doesn't have the realtek GUI with Equalizer. The latest compatible with my board is the full 8393 package with MBAPO integration. Actually i'm waiting for a updated 835x with MBAPO to use

^^^^ This. I don't want *just* the driver, I want the RealTek HD Audio notification area executable that has, among other things, GUI based sound setup, the ability ot tie front panel jacks with rear ones, and, most importantly, the EQ....

Ha. Altered the search parameters, inputting

    Code:
Realtek Semiconductor Corp. MEDIA 6.0.1 1803
into the search box, and found the ones that are applicable to 1803 - I probably previously downloaded an incorrect version (or, more appropriately, a version that said something like Fall Creators Update *and newer*) and assumed that it would work with 1803.

Betting it works this time around....

And one more thing - your RealTek chipset may not be the same as mine....
