what is the hardware device ID of your Realtek audio device, pietcorus2?
on my Hewlett-Packard m8417c computer using Win10 LTSB 2016, it uses Realtek ALC888S audio chip with hardware ID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_103C2A6C&REV_1001" and installed either thru the HDXCPC.inf or HDXCPCOld.inf file (seems to install SRS related DLL files - really old HP desktops/laptops had certain Realtek chips with SRS enhancements on them)

I've recently retired my old custom built PC that had an old Intel board with Realtek ALC861 audio chip that used a hardware ID beginning with "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0861", many Realtek drivers from MS don't support IDs beginning with DEV_0861 & DEV_0880 anymore and I had to use modded INF drivers to support these old Realtek audio devices. I'm gonna replace that old Intel motherboard with something newer later this year.

also I'd make good use of the wushowhide.diagcab tool to hide/blacklist any realtek audio driver updates that the Win10 OS may silently install w/out my approval as it did happen one time on that HP m8417c computer (it quietly installed v6.0.1.6662 while installing some Win10 updates)

v6.0.1.8363 with Waves MaxxAudio software for certain Dell Studio XPS 93xx/95xx laptops from MS (32bit) (64bit) - these users should either stick to using Dell customized Realtek drivers with MaxxAudio integration or wait for updated drivers from MS that include the Maxxaudio DLL & application files as other Realtek drivers from MS do not include the MaxxAudio files & may cause the Dell Audio control panel (a customized Realtek HD audio manager control panel) not to work

    Its ; HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_10438616&REV_1003
    and second ; HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_10438616

Do you know a solution for my problem of losing the Dolby-tab......??

    Hi,

That's an Asus board, correct ?
Maybe you should try the base drivers from Asus then.

Hey! Is there a specific driver that you guys would recommend for ALC892?

And another one, it's safe to install those 8393 drivers right? I mean, no Dolby gets installed on my system, I guess it doesn't support it, but the base drivers seem to work just fine.

Now I'm using 8383 & I suggest waiting for until the Realtek Semiconductor Corp, but there's no harm install 8393.
