I'm also considering a new Creative SoundBlaster, I just gotta research what's Creative been up to lately. The last dedicated sound card that I bought was a PCI Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1. That was a long time ago.
the latest ones from newest to the slightly older they only have a few cards now, Sound Cards - Creative Labs (United States) i'm thinking of the soundblaster Z myself.

What do you guys think of R 2.82 (8186) sound-wise?
Everything sounds a bit muffled up on my system with 8186. But, I kept it as my base driver since it keeps the Realtek HD Audio Manager in my Control Panel. Since then I've updated via Device Manager and I'm now using 6.0.1.8412 which sounds good to me.

this Gigabyte board uses hardware ID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A182" and the Realtek driver is installed thru the HDXRtGi.INF file cuz that INF file lists that specific ID.
Hmm, is the Interface supposed to look different afterwards?
I managed to install HDXRtGi here on my GA-H81M-H. Hardware ID's match in the INF. v8303

The interface you see depends on the brand of motherboard you are running.

Which one has the MBAPO integration? My drivers only work with realtek mbapo integration, tried every other and I can't use Realtek Control Panel.

My mobo is a Gigabyte B150M-GAMING

Yes I noticed that this morning asturias7, I've never had any success installing these small Realtek drivers so I don't know what any of them sound like

I'm sure these updates are useless for most of us. Someone can surely explain things better than I can.

Hello guys, been struggling for 4 hours straight with a problem. In the end I give up and will write it here

Yesterday or so I've updated my windows 10 pro x64 to version 1803, and I noticed a difference at the audio level - everything was hearing quieter, more quieter than normal. I didn't think it was a thing, only today, when I opened my speakers (5.1) and wanted to listen to music, and noticed there is no god damn bass!!! Absolutely no bass, and 2-3 days ago I could "demolish" the whole block with the bass...

Opened my MSI Live Update and saw there was an update for Realtek HD Audio Manager, downloaded and installed it (version 8382, it said it is the last version atm). Still no difference, no bass, everything quieter. Reinstalled the driver about 20 times by far, trying different versions - by far I tried R 2.82 from the realtek site, 8351, several times 8382, 8419 and tried to install 8433 as well, but didn't make it. None made a difference. Moreover, my realtek hd audio manager interface bugged, I can't modify settings and things...I cant hear anything now, the interface is bugged, it's blocked on 5.1, I cant change to stereo or 7.1 (wanted to add some extra 2 side speakers) and no sound comes out...

Oh, an addition. I tried the microsoft version too, the one that auto installs after uninstalling realtek driver - it's just as quiet as the realtek, and no bass...so...any suggestion are appreciated
