Thanks for the heads up! Anyone knows if these drivers will work for an Asus MAXIMUS VI HERO? Their official drivers haven't updated on their page in quite a while. They work just fine on Windows 10, don't get me wrong, even for the latest 1803 version, but I might be missing some newer optimizations and/or features, not sure. Thanks.

8421 for ASUS and some other OEM's seems to be on the Realtek FTP. Compiled yesterday. Seems to sound a bit worse though.

Actually, after some more listening it seems to have pretty nice, sharp highs and decent bass. Decent separation too.

Edit: After MORE listening bass seems lacking, but highs are very sharp and separation is nice.

So how do I have 6.0.1.8403 installed when my hardware ID (0900) isn't supported by that driver? Should I be only using drivers that are for my hardware ID? None of the newer drivers seem to have 0900 supported.. I'm on an Asus Hero Alpha

I'm using 6.0.1.8419. The overall volume is slightly muffled.

    Hello everyone.

    One question please:
How can it be that Realtek hasn't updated the drivers in their official site from July 26th 2017?

Why does this happen even though high definition audio drivers are so commonly used?
