    what do I do once I install, extract?

    I didn't know to extract or not extract. I re-started the computer but no change.
    What do I need to do?
    Once you have downloaded, just extract the zip with your system's zip program, or something like WinRar. You will see a folder, copy that folder to somewhere on your system. Then open that folder and double-click on Click image for larger version.

ID:	105357 and it will start the process. Now just follow the instructions and it will install the latest update on your pc.

    I followed your instructions but my laptop still not reading any of the headphones I try.

    One is Logitech with an USB port and the other one is Phillips with just the regular port. I don't know what else I can do.
    I need to use headphones for my work.

    Try this and see if it works:
    Open the Realtek HD Audio Manager. Click on "Device advanced settings" and check Multi-stream Mode. Your connected audio devices will reload and your headphones will be detected.

    The USB headset won't work with the Realtek drivers. If they have an inline volume control then it's likely you may need the Logitech drivers for them.

    Thank you for your reply.

    When I purchased the Logitech headphones with the USB and didn't have to download anything. I looked it up in the Logitech website and this is what it says:
    "Your Logitech USB headset doesn't require any drivers or software, other than the default device drivers built into your operating system. Connect your headset to a USB port on your computer, and the drivers will install automatically."

    Any more ideas?

    I see you're using Win10, so try this to open up your Control Panel (below).
    You should be able to find your Realtek Audio Manager there.
    Once you find it, the Device advanced settings is top right in blue.

    When you connected your headphones, did something actually install on your PC? From what you shared, the driver should have installed.

    Run Command: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\

    Click Realtek HD Audio Manager

    Far upper right hand side of the audio manager UI "Device Advanced Setting".

    Also make sure the correct Sound Playback device under system sounds is selected as the default playback sound source. Play a sound file and see which device is displaying a volume indication (a moving vertical bar scale indication during playback).
