    Storage Spaces Trouble

I was performing a removal of an HDD using the storage spaces feature (because it had the yellow exclamation) and the computer then went into sleep/hibernate mode and when I noticed I started the computer back up and then it showed that the Storage Space was offline.

At the moment I am somewhat freaking out because I have all my video footage on there so I am hoping nothing is wrong. I have five "1 TB" drives hooked up using a Parity setup where according to the info says 'using 2.11 TB of 4.54 TB pool capacity' so I might be ok, but I am not sure.

The problem is that the drive I was trying to remove because it had an yellow exclamation point on it is now saying "Information Preparing for removal" which has been there for hours and my PC led light is blinking for hours as well. There was a point when a window popped out saying unable to remove HDD and when I clicked ok I closed all the windows but now that particular HDD simply shows "Preparing for removal" which has not changed since the issue started. When I now click on the Storage Spaces window it lags and seems out of place. To be honest I have no idea what is happening I can't click on anything and it looks bugged.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I need to submit further information please let me know.

Managed to fix it. Basically reconnecting the drives did the trick.

I unplugged all the storage drives and booted with the OS drive alone. I then turned off the PC and plugged back the drives and Storage Spaces managed to finish removal process of the above drive. Once that was done I turned off the PC, unplugged said drive and everything was working fine. I then replaced the empty drive.
