    No Sound on TV

    I use a HDMI cord to watch video from PC to TV. I use the Duplicate Mode for personal reasons.

    I do NOT have sound on my TV when watch videos. Sound is only on my PC speakers.

    How to I get the sound on my TV when watching Videos??

    Hi there

    @huffman

    you will probably need to change the default sound device away from the speakers to something like "digital device" or whatever.

    Set the TV sound as the default --then it should work

    e.g I'm using a Samsung TV as a TV monitor (it's actually a TV BTW) with HDMI input from computer.

    My TV is a Vizio and there is nothing special about it.

    Here I think is the way to change sound, but I have NO idea which is the TV.

    Hi there
    I suspect it's the bottom device (E420VL) --try it and see -- set it as the playback device.

    Yes, make Intel Display Audio the default device, that's it. You may have to restart your media player to take effect. Some media players may be set to Windows default audio device (whichever that is) or to a specific audio device (always HDMI), so you don't have to change each time you disconnect and connect to the TV.
