Post any problem's you still have.
Hi I'm back for a short while. I've still got the docking station connected directly to the laptop. The mouse seems a bit slow to react plugged into the docking station but works well plugged into the laptop's USB2 port.
I just seem to have cables and connections everywhere!
Is it ok to connect the docking station via the hub?
What do you advise is the best way to connect everything now the docking station seems to be functioning ok?

Yes, I would try connecting the docking station to the hub.
For the cable's, you can route them so they are convenient and look neater if this is what you want.

If by switching cable's around cause's a problem you can always switch them back
    or try another combination.

Unless you have some real good use for the USB 2.0 port, put the mouse back, it's not necessary to be on a 3.0.

Post a couple of pics of your whole setup, different angles, showing all the equipment and connections. Pics are worth a thousand words! Describe anything that isn't seen obviously.

    Hi!
Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I didn't know you had replied until Bob sent a PM.
So I rearranged my desk space and everything seems to be working well. I have the laptop sitting on the docking station. The mouse and the docking station are connected directly to the laptop. The display, Battery pack, speakers and keyboard are connected to the docking station. I will only need the hub if the Touro or Flash drive don't respond properly when connected directly to the docking station. For the moment everything seems to be fine.
So thanks so much to both of you for your help and advice!
