Hi all, I went to the support site for my new tablet and the only driver available for download is the "USB" driver. Usually manufacturers list all the drivers for download (Chipset, Network, Graphics, etc). Does this mean that the other drivers are the Windows 10 default drivers? Or is it that Samsung does not want to offer the drivers for download?
It is more likely that there are no newer versions of any of the installed software and drivers. Usually you will be given a factory restore option which returns you to the original state. You will also have the option to create a backup using Samsung Recovery which is something I would encourage you to do.
Yes, I actually imaged the whole drive using Acronis, just in case I need to restore the original factory install. But having the drivers for the specific hardware is always handy in case you want to install your own OS, or do a clean install. Most manufacturers (like Dell) offer the complete drivers for download (whether they are outdated or not), so you have the freedom of clean installing an OS. So I was surprised that Samsung does not offer them.
