    Favorite Hardware Brands

Out of curiosity, I thought that I would start a thread on which brands of hardware we like in various categories. I'm not saying my choices are right, I'm just indicating what I prefer.

    Cases: Antec, NZXT, Corsair
    PSU's: (Modular Only) Corsair, Seasonic
    Motherboards: Gigabyte, Asus, MSI
    Video Cards: EVGA
    Hard Drives: Seagate, Western Digital
    SSD's: Samsung, Intel, Crucial
    Memory: G.Skill, Crucial, Kingston
    Keyboards: (Mechanical): Das, Corsair, Steelseries
Monitors: Dell UltraSharp, Asus, Acer (low cost)
    Headphones: Audio Technica, Grado, Sennheiser

    GPU: EVGA
    Memory: G Skill
    SSD: Samsung, Crucial

Cases - consider the very quiet Nanoxia Deep Silence range
PSU - EVGA offer a 10 year warranty. I found XFX very unreliable.
Motherboards /Drives / SSDs / Memory- all your choices OK
Monitors - Viewsonic professional monitors offer a zero pixel defect warranty. I have the VP2770 which is very good.

See Tom's Hardware and Anandtech sites for guidance.

Case, bigger the better, right now a professional Cheftec Dragon, next one will be same but full server tower, weighs a ton but it's worth every pound. Enough space to walk thru it and no vibrations.
CPU coolers, liquid, single but thick radiator with push-pull fans. Right now CM Nepton140XL, TDP 300W and next bigger on 280 has only 5W higher TDP.
CPU, mostly AMD for better performance/price ratio and don't actually need much better. Soon to switch to Ryzen 6/12 if it deserves the hype.
MB, mostly Gigabyte because they are most sturdy built and can take most abuse. Asus may be next choice though, they tend to have better BIOS and OC is easier. MSI and Acer I had bad experience with, Also don't need any fancy MBs with name that suggest gaming or other, mostly not fitting attributes.
RAM, mostly Kingston, usually most compatible with AMD systems.
GPU, no special preferences but AMD are what I'm most familiar with.
PSU, good make with no stability issues, Chieftec was my favorite for long time now.

Case: LianLi (aluminium based and well designed)
PSU: Seasonic (silent and reliable, using one for 10 years already)
Motherboard: ASUS (AMD chipset, quality and attention to details)
CPU: AMD (you can not beat performance/price ratio)
GPU: AMD based, I choose the type based on the silence
    Hard Drives: Seagate (cheap)
Memory: A-Data, Kingston (but it does not matter, I look up for spec: low CL/high speed)
Fans: Noctua (like there is anything else silent)
    Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech (pure ergonomics)
    Headphones: Sennheiser (digital wireless)
