    Yeah, he can clean up old files first, that's quick, warn him about Defender being checked off.. I thought the CCleaner work was all the screenshots and stuff. Walk him thru what NOT to have checked off. (Windows.old??) Then defrag, reboot, onward.....

    Nope simrick said for you to walk Peter Thur the defrag 1st ....then SFC ...so I am going to be quiet.

    Guys, sometimes I have seen problems with files being deleted in the cleaner part (main front page) - not a lot, but sometimes. I was thinking that the defrag and sfc /scannow should be completed first, just in case.
    It would be fine cleaning the registry though at this point.
