I would rather not do any cleaning with Ccleaner, other than the registry for now, if you agree TC?
We need a restore point set now please. Do you know how to do that Peter?

Peter, right now we're gonna save all your hard work so far in case something goes whacky. I'm going to put this in 2 parts. First part is checking and configuring your System Protection.

Right click on the Start Button (left side of task bar), then Control Panel. Click System Security>System>System Protection (left side). You should see the screen here. The first drive listed should be your system drive, or C:. Note whether it says protection is on or off. Click "Configure".

If there is not a DOT next to "Turn on System Protection", click it to turn on. You'll see the DOT change. The blue slider can be moved left and right with the left mouse button held down. You are only using about 14% of your 465GB drive, so for now slide it to about 15%. That is how much room will be reserved for Restore Points. It can be changed later. Click APPLY and OK. Post back when done this part.
