    Question for you folks ....I ran AdwCleaner myself ....and it found this in reg ....wants to remove it ...what is this sucker.
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\protector_dll.Protector

    mixed reports on this ...when I checked on the web.

    @simrick, he hasn't done a defrag in at least 6 weeks. After a restore point, might not be a bad idea. Probably pretty well splattered.

    Probably just some malware/toolbar junk. (usually from a BHO)
