Is that good or bad or don't matter---3hrs and mbam is at 169.000 files not even at the heuristic yet
Peter after Mbam is finished ....here is the list of things we need to do From simrick...
Peter, I'm sure things got busy for you today - no problem, we can continue tomorrow. I will be delayed in the morning, so I'd like to leave some instructions, if I may.
@f14tomcat can help you through the steps.
- MBAM+rootkit scan log results
- sfc /scannow (DISM if necessary)
-ADWCleaner
-Run Ccleaner on the registry
-Screenshots in Ccleaner:Windows Startup
Firefox
Internet Explorer

It appears that you may have experienced an incomplete/failed RESET because you still have 3rd-party applications on the system, and they should have been removed with a complete RESET. So, any program that doesn't work should be uninstalled and reinstalled; that should get it working.
That might be because of the HDD, @petra9999 you can use this to fill in your HDD in your system specs :)
I have no idea how old this HDD is and how much fragmentation is present, so I have no idea if this is really a cause for MBAM being slow.
Code:Storage Hard drives ST500DM002-1BD142 Manufacturer Seagate Heads 16 Cylinders 60,801 Tracks 15,504,255 Sectors 976,768,065 SATA type SATA-III 6.0Gb/s Device type Fixed ATA Standard ATA8-ACS Serial Number W2AXMJBR Firmware Version Number HP73 LBA Size 48-bit LBA Power On Count 3233 times Power On Time 362.3 days Speed 7200 RPM Features S.M.A.R.T., NCQ Max. I cannot forget the other reasons why MBAM can be very slow, but MM can explain those better indepth :)
Something happened mbam is going alot faster over200.000 file now
