    Checked my wiring -

This is where my HD Audio plugs into the AUDIO on the MOBO. This wire comes directly from the front panel.

I had the speaker plugged into the speaker on the mobo but I think this is to test for errors on the PC with the sound of beeps so I removed it. (correct me if im wrong)

After doing so, It still stated my microphone was not plugged in; even when plugging it in both mic ports.

First picture: Yes that's for front sound IO and judging by number of wires, it is HD Audio, not AC97.
Second picture: It is for warning speaker for POST and other beeps. It has nothing to do with other sound like music etc. It should connect to black connector on picture 3.

Right so everything was wired correctly there are no other wires that need to be connected. So I'm guessing its a driver/software issue.

Yes it's probably something wrong with drivers, it should work at least with back connectors.

So what do I do? The back and front don't work? The HDMI does of course work though.

I had to open the Realtek HD Audio Manager , and check the " Disable front panel jack detection" option and now my front panel headphones work :) Thank you for your help everyone.
