    Best Way to RAID 1 Two 500GB SSD's


    Hi,

    I'm trying to setup two 500GB SSD's in a RAID 1 configuration, to be used as storage drives for CAD purposes.

    Could someone point me in the right direction as to the best way to set this up?
    Does Windows 10 provide this facility or would be in a BIOS task? Its a Dell T5820 unit.

    There are 3 options:
    - hardware RAID1 - depends on disk controller capability
    - Dynamic Disks "Mirrored Volume" - Win10 Pro or higher only
    - Storage Spaces "Two-way Mirror" - not bootable, not for dummies.
    It is a good idea to test software RAIDs (including failed disk replacement) in a virtual machine before deploying.
