The Future is here : 13TB 2.5 inch SSD released

    Hi there
Although currently too expensive for mere mortals like me -- this is obviously the way of the future

    13 TB SSD released

Fixstars Solid State Drive - Fixstars NVM Solutions

Looking forward to the days when I can retire old Spinners -- in a few years the HDD will be as rare as Floppy discs are now.

    Cheers

When prices come down to a working man's budget I'm retiring all my HDDs. ☺

Well you'd need two.. one as backup... unless you used your retired HDDs as backup..

Anyway, it's just what I need for the virtual reality version of the Hunger Games series...

I'm fully onboard the SSD juggernaught having recently replaced all my hard drives. But I do draw the line.
