The fact that you have no category for "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" in your device manager seems to be the main problem here.

I believe the items you are looking at under "System Devices" are actually Windows components, related to, but not the same as the actual sound device hardware.

So the question becomes: why doesn't your system detect any sound devices?

The first place to check is in your BIOS/UEFI settings. See if the sound device is disabled there.

Also it would be good to know if your system has HDMI video capability, as HDMI has it's own sound device that (should) show up separately.

Also, go to Control Panel > Sound and tell us what you find there.

But in any case you will not be able to install any sound driver until the system recognizes a sound device.

It seems like you have AMD audio device, wich I was not able to find a driver fast. Try AMD's website
Where do I get the AMD High Definition Audio Device driver?

Your PC seems like an HP, you can also try HP support.

The AMD website offers me a AMD graphics driver to download and they didn't give me an audio driver, so I didn't install anything.
I tried to install HP support assistant and use it to search for drivers that I can update, but the assistant reports that there are not driver that needs to be updated.

Q1: Is my sound device disabled in the BIOS/UEFI setting?
First I figure out how to get to the BIOS/UEFI setting page.
I followed this video on YouTube: Windows 10 - Accessing the UEFI (BIOS) Setup - YouTube
Although I follow the exact same step in the video, I get something different from the video.
At 0:33 of the video, the YouTube get this:
No Audio Output Device is installed-youtube.png
But when I reach the same stage, I get this screen instead of the above screen:
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4369.jpg

I'm not sure why I didn't get the same thing as the YouTube. Maybe it's because HP did it differently (It looks like the YouTube video is made from Acer perspective)

However, since windows leads me to this "startup menu" screen (above) when I ask for BIOS/UEFI, I think I should be able to find some UEFI related stuff here. I took a few picture of the exploration I had. Please see below:

I selected System Information within the startup menu and I get this:
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4368.jpg

I selected the computer setup within the startup menu and I get this:
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4370.jpg
I notice that this above screen looks similar to the YouTube one at 0:33. But they are still different.
I explored it (they call this page/screen Hewlett-Packard Setup Utility) and took more pictures:
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4371.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4372.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4375.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4374.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4373.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4376.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4377.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4378.jpg
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4379.jpg
The result is that I didn't see any sound relate stuff here. Maybe it's because I don't know how to get to the sound part or maybe it's because I'm not actually in the UEFI/BIOS setting.
Please tell me how to find the sound section.

Q2: Does my system have HDMI video capability?
Below is an image of my desktop HDMI port, so I think it has HDMI video capability.
No Audio Output Device is installed-img_4367.jpg
(Please tell me if I misunderstand the question.)

Q3: Explain what I find in "Control Panel/Sound".
I went to "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound" and click the "Sound" section. A pop up window shows up immediately.
Then I took 4 pictures of it. Each picture correspond to a different tab within the Sound pop up window. They are listed below:
No Audio Output Device is installed-sound-recording.png
No Audio Output Device is installed-sound-playback.png
No Audio Output Device is installed-sound-communications.png
No Audio Output Device is installed-sound-sounds.png
As far as I can see, my desktop does not detect any audio device. But they should have detect it.

Excellent feedback! I have a feeling the chipset driver may trigger some good things.

That driver is usually packed with the graphics driver, can you go ahead and install the driver AMD offered you.

Hopefully it won't reject it, because it sees this driver,

    Code:
    Driver Version 15.201.1151.1008
    Code:
    Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\atikmpag.sys (8.14.1.6463, 658.48 KB (674,288 bytes), 2015-10-08 1:01 PM)
Which is fairly recent. It's worth a try though.

    Thanks!

For installing the drive AMD offered me:
I visited AMD's page (Download Drivers) and click the "download now" button to get the AMD AutoDetect program.
No Audio Output Device is installed-auto-detect.png

This auto detect program offers me a graphics driver to download:
No Audio Output Device is installed-autodetect.png

I successful downloaded the above driver. But the program instruction ends here. I didn't see anything new on my desktop and download folder. I assume they also install the driver for me.

Also, I notice that they said the chipset drivers are not included.
No Audio Output Device is installed-chipset-driver-not-included2.png
so I click the link they give me in the above picture and download the following driver (this is found in Chipset)

No Audio Output Device is installed-chipset-driver.png
The above chipset driver is the only one that match my desktop (windows 10, 64 bit) so I think this is the right one to use.

After downloading the driver, I started the installation program (radeon-crimson-15.12-sb-sata-ahci-win10-win8.1-win7-64bit.exe).
Although I restart the installation many time because it didn't respond or my computer didn't respond and I kill the program, but the installation was successful at last (For the last time, I restart the computer, install the program, let it do its thing and only interact after the installation finishes).

After the installation, the program ask me to restart the computer, but the problem remain after restart.

Try going to this page, and do a manual search for all the HP Drivers, and see if it finds anything for audio .
    http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/.../model/5373573

If it does, download them, and install, then reboot . Just an idea.

another possibility is that the sound device could be defect. Or if it is a PCI audio device, maybe it does not make good contact in the pci bus.
U can open the case and check if u have a pci sound device or onboard device. U can allso check on HP support site, according to your serial number what type mainboard and sound device is used.
If u are not sure, write here your pc's model/serial number so we can check what type mainboard/sound device or drive it uses.
