I liked the timing better, and the heatsinks
Will the heat from these and the SSD be too much for the lappy without a cooler ?
Cannot tell you about the memory but the SSD generates much less heat than the HDD and will give you more battery life in disk operations.

OK, I thought the Intel SSD's ran hotter. I don't use battery power, its always plugged in and set to conservation mode in the Energy Manager.

What about the high end temps I have now, are they within range of the CPU ?

Even with the i7 the temp is good ? Again I'm not questioning you, trying to understand it.

If you look at the specs for your cpu

    ARK | Intel® Coreâ

Where it shows Package Specifications, it list it as Tjunction 100c that is where you will start to throttle, and much more it will shut itself down

That is the temp it will start throttling

Read this old post, it's confusing but you will get the jist of it. I'm still confused by it :)

So Tcase would be normal running temp ? TjMax would be the max. running temp. but it should shut itself down before it got to the TjMax ?

start throttling = slowing down ?

One last question, should I buy it directly from Crucial ?
