    Problems with hard drive recognized

hello, im currently running windows 10 on a hp pavilion 23. and it works great and i really like it. but theres a problem im having. this morning while working in calibre, i suddenly got a blue screen with a error message of unexpected_store_exception. and when it rebooted it didnt recognize that there was a hard drive. and when the drive diagnostics came up it said that there was no bootable drive installed. it took me about 20 minutes plus the windows 8.1 install disk doing repairs( i think) before it booted up fine. when i was up and running i did a backup in backup and restore in windows 7. and this isnt the first time i had that problem no matter what the error message. last time i had to do a complete re-install. my question is, does anyone else have this problem. and two is it possible to turn a usb drive into a repair drive? you know insert the usb drive and diagnose and fix problems..

Did you already test your HDDdrive.
I recommend downloading Crystal Disk Info. and checking the health status of your hard drive.

Or to check/analyse the integrity of your HDD you can use Sea Tools
    Download from here http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...s-how-use.html
